What I do:
I design and deliver tailored English lessons for professionals and private adult learners. Lessons focus on General English, Business English or specific areas such as writing, grammar, speaking, or pronunciation, according to your goals and level.

How are lessons tailored to individual needs?
I assess each learner’s level, needs and goals before starting. Using a mix of course materials and bespoke content, lessons are practical and interactive, with clear learning aims and regular review of progress. Activities may include role-play, discussion, writing tasks and pronunciation practice, with cultural insights integrated where relevant.
Case studies
Individual learner, insurance sector
Need: Improve conversational English and specialist vocabulary for international meetings.
Approach: Speaking and pronunciation work focussing on linking, pacing and emphasis, supported by recordings for review.
Format / outcome: Two sessions per week over 15 weeks, improving fluency and confidence in professional interactions.
Individual learner, banking sector
Need: Improve conversational English, grammar and accuracy in professional interactions.
Approach: Integrated speaking, listening, reading and writing practice with particular emphasis on speaking and grammar.
Format / outcome: Two sessions per week over one year, improving grammatical accuracy and spoken fluency.
Student preparing for university entrance
Need: Prepare for the Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) exam.
Approach: Targeted exam preparation covering writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary and grammar.
Format / outcome: Two sessions per week during term time over one year. The learner successfully completed the exam.
