Intercultural Activities for the Language Classroom

I am currently developing a collection of practical intercultural activities for international language classrooms.

The project explores how language learning can create opportunities for students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds to interact, learn from one another and participate more fully in the classroom community. English is used as a shared language for conversation, curiosity, comparison and collaboration. Rather than teaching culture as a set of facts, the focus is on creating engaging situations in which intercultural learning can emerge naturally through interaction.

The materials have been developed and tested through my work with international language learners.
